The underlying supporting structure that is attached is either made from metal or ceramic. These bridges mainly comprise of a metal alloy framework or ceramic, with porcelain crowns. These are used to replace missing teeth or crooked teeth.

They last for many years.

There is a small risk associated with the metal used, in terms of allergic reaction.

They are not likely to crack that easily.

These can easily replace 1-3 teeth.

Who Should Go For Ceramic & Metal Bridges?

Ceramic & Metal Bridges Procedure

We complete this procedure in two sittings. The first visit comprises the initial consultation, which comprises examination of the teeth.

Thereafter, we will clean and reshape the affected teeth, so that the bridge fits properly.

We will take an impression of the teeth, using mould. The imprint and the X-rays will be sent to the laboratory, to get your bridge constructed.

In the second visit, we will fit the bridge. We will check for colour matching, to your existing teeth as well.

The crowns are polished before, the bridge is finally fixed.
